Recipe for Economic Growth: Small Businesses Play a Role

I hope everyone had an opportunity to watch last night’s presidential debate or the recaps.  Both Governor Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama believe that small businesses play a significant role in the state of the US’ economy, particularly when it comes to hiring employees, receiving fair tax breaks to expand and grow, and being given opportunities for innovation and independence.  The video is a short snippet as both presidential hopefuls start the debates with their opening states and address the state of the economy and plans to move us past this stagnant recession.  


What economic element could either presidential candidate offer small business owners that would make operating a business (1) deregulated and fair, (2) attractive and rewarding or (3) financially possible?
